Josh Mains is a highly trained therapist who helps individuals heal from trauma, break free from addictive patterns, and create meaningful change in their lives. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with post-graduate certification in Developmental and Relational Trauma Therapy (DARTT), advanced training that equips him to work effectively with complex trauma and deep-rooted family-of-origin issues.
Josh’s professional background also includes extensive experience helping people recover from chemical and behavioral addictions, giving him a grounded understanding of the challenges his clients face. His clinical approach combines the empathy of a person-centered relationship with the structure and focus of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)—helping clients not only feel understood but also empowered to take practical steps toward lasting healing.
Josh believes that real change happens in the context of safety and trust. He provides a calm, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their stories, process painful experiences, and develop new ways of coping and thriving. His goal is to help each person reclaim their sense of agency and move toward the life they want to live.
